Senior Account Manager (CRM Customer Relationship Management)


As a Senior Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships, delivering effective campaigns (email and SMS), and ensuring the successful delivery of data-focused projects.

You'll work closely with our clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored CRM strategies to achieve their goals.

Reporting into an Account Director, you'll assist with the management of a small team, providing mentoring and coaching to support personal development.

You'll be focused on providing outstanding client experiences and excellent delivery of end-to-end customer journeys – including changes to marketing single customer view (SCV), campaign management, reporting, and analytics.

To be successful, you must have

  • Experience delivering as a Senior Account Manager in an agency environment, with a focus on CRM and campaign management or a CRM / Campaign Manager from a client marketing team

  • Demonstrable experience working with complex databases and data-driven CRM solutions

  • Knowledge of key ESPs, preferable Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Acoustic, Dotdigital

  • Digital marketing experience

  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines

  • Project management skills would be desirable but not essential

Key skills

  • Able to brief and manage campaigns (email and SMS), database change requests, reporting, and analytics

  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations from improvement

  • Must have strong customer-facing skills with 3-5 years' account management experience

  • Lead on key client accounts, with support of Account Director


  • Ensure that work, cost estimates, and production remain with the timing plans and budgets

  • Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients through regular communications, including status calls and quarterly business reviews
